Kenny Session is a licensed real estate broker with 38 years of experience, a 100% Disabled U.S. Veteran, and the author of A Time Like Now! — From Valleys to Canaan!. One year ago, Kenny answered a calling larger than any commission check — he pivoted to professional speaking.
His mission is singular: prepare incarcerated people for life after incarceration, with a special focus on Veterans inside the walls — a population he knows, understands, and advocates for every single day.
Kenny partners with Defy Ventures, a national nonprofit delivering entrepreneurship and personal development training inside correctional facilities. He has spoken at Soledad State Prison and will be at Solano and Tehachapi State Prisons in June 2025.

Veterans make up a disproportionate share of the incarcerated population. Kenny speaks their language — he is one of them. As a 100% Disabled Veteran himself, his message carries the weight of lived experience, military brotherhood, and hard-won wisdom.

Re-Entry & Incarcerated Communities
Nonprofits, correctional facilities, and re-entry programs receive Kenny's most generous terms. Incarcerated participants are often free — the guards, staff, and institutional partners have budgets, and that's where the paid model applies.
Kenny has spoken inside California state prisons through Defy Ventures, delivering entrepreneurship, mindset, and life-after-incarceration messages to men and women preparing for release.

Corrections departments have budgets — and their staff are on the front lines of the re-entry pipeline. Kenny trains correctional officers, counselors, and administrators on trauma-informed engagement, effective communication, and the psychology of transformation.
