Kenny Session speaks truth into the lives of incarcerated veterans, re-entry communities, and organizations ready to invest in second chances — from real estate boardrooms to prison yards.
"I don't want money to be a barrier
to the people I was called to help."
70% of Kenny's speaking engagements are intentionally free. Because transformation shouldn't have a price tag.
Kenny Session is a licensed real estate broker with 38 years of experience, a 100% Disabled U.S. Veteran, and the author of A Time Like Now! — From Valleys to Canaan!. One year ago, Kenny answered a calling larger than any commission check — he pivoted to professional speaking.
His mission is singular: prepare incarcerated people for life after incarceration, with a special focus on Veterans inside the walls — a population he knows, understands, and advocates for every single day.
Kenny partners with Defy Ventures, a national nonprofit delivering entrepreneurship and personal development training inside correctional facilities. He has spoken at Soledad State Prison and will be at Solano and Tehachapi State Prisons in June 2025.
Veterans make up a disproportionate share of the incarcerated population. Kenny speaks their language — he is one of them. As a 100% Disabled Veteran himself, his message carries the weight of lived experience, military brotherhood, and hard-won wisdom.
Whether speaking to incarcerated veterans, veteran re-entry programs, or VA-connected organizations, Kenny delivers a message that honors their service and ignites their next mission.
Nonprofits, correctional facilities, and re-entry programs receive Kenny's most generous terms. Incarcerated participants are often free — the guards, staff, and institutional partners have budgets, and that's where the paid model applies.
Kenny has spoken inside California state prisons through Defy Ventures, delivering entrepreneurship, mindset, and life-after-incarceration messages to men and women preparing for release.
Corrections departments have budgets — and their staff are on the front lines of the re-entry pipeline. Kenny trains correctional officers, counselors, and administrators on trauma-informed engagement, effective communication, and the psychology of transformation.
Better staff means better outcomes for everyone inside those walls. This is where the paid model applies, funding Kenny's free work with incarcerated populations.
38 years as a licensed broker gives Kenny something most motivational speakers don't have: decades of real-world skin in the game. He speaks to real estate teams, brokerages, investors, and associations on resilience, purpose-driven business, and building lasting careers.
Kenny bridges the worlds of high-performance business and community impact in a way that resonates with agents at every stage of their career.
In his debut book, Kenny Session delivers a message forged in the valleys of real life — military service, loss, reinvention, and a calling that took him behind prison walls by choice.
This book is for anyone who feels like they're in the valley and can't see Canaan from where they stand. Kenny's framework walks readers through the journey: not around the hard seasons, but through them — until you arrive at what was always yours.
Available for bulk orders for events, re-entry programs, and correctional facilities. Kenny believes this message belongs in every room where transformation is possible.
These photos were taken inside the walls. This is the work — real, unscripted, and already happening.

"Kenny walked into that room and every man in there felt seen. He doesn't speak at incarcerated people — he speaks with them. The energy, the honesty, the respect he showed — that's rare. That's real."
"A veteran talking to veterans inside the walls — there's nothing more powerful. Kenny brings credibility, empathy, and a fire that you can't manufacture. Our participants were still talking about it weeks later."
"38 years in real estate and now speaking about wealth building to men who've never had a bank account — Kenny bridges that gap like nobody I've ever seen. He makes it feel possible. Because for him, it was."
